It sounds like that was from a script used only for casting purposes. i.e. whatever developer it was used a script that was not related to their project but probably had similar characters and relationships between those characters. That way they can get a sense of how the actors they're auditioning would play the actual characters without people leaking anything. I would imagine that tactic is used a lot in movies, too.
I have not had opportunity to try Kinect, but while i do think Move is the better overall system, it seems clear that Kinect can do some things better. I think Kinectimals looks terrible, but Eyepet would be better on Kinect than on Move. I am also curious how that Steel Battalion game will work out with Kinect. I think that Kinect's fitness games have potential to revolutionize home fitness, too. Imagine a workout DVD, but it can customize itself to your performance and needs.
What about when you want to turn 180 degrees? You would be point over your shoulder. Unless you mean just when using the iron sights. I think that could work pretty well. I also wonder if any developers have considered head-tracking for camera control. It might end up being confusing, but you could swing your reticule around with the Move and turn your view by turning your head (while keeping your eyes on the screen).
Went to the website to request service and they gave me the option to either get another 60GB or, for $30 less, switch to the 120GB slim. Gonna miss my launch unit and backwards compatibility, but trading a few minor features i never use for double the hard drive and for less money sounded good.
The couple weeks of not playing Dragon Age will be tough, though.
I actually think that Move and kinect will both really come into their own next gen when the consoles are built for and launch with them.
It will tell you to take a break every hour. Heck, during the install screens MGS4 would remind you to take a break every hour. They also all tell you that the game may cause seizures for some people.
They are not consoles, they are accessories. Barring prices and clearance sales, accessories generally don't go down in price unless they flop. Case in point: controllers for all three consoles are the same price now as when they launched. The PSEye is the same price now as when it launched (and sorry to say it, but other than its inclusion with Move, the PSEye was not exactly a raging success).
"New Catherine video (opening)"
instead of
"New video of Catherine's opening."
It just says that it's coming to XBox 360, never that it's coming EXCLUSIVELY to XBox 360. This could very well be like when Microsoft advertised GTA IV "for XBox 360". Microsoft may have made a deal with Bethesda to make the announcement themselves making it APPEAR to be exclusive.
I would have to see the original press release, but from all of those links, it appears that the word "exclusive" is never used. PR departments are very good at stra...
A brand new game built specifically for Move would be ideal, but Sony would love to get something out for Move before the Kinect Star Wars game comes out, so a Move patch for SW:TFU2 sounds very likely.
The person who posted the image on the forum doesn't put a link to where he or she found it. It's just posted with the question "anyone know about this?". That implies that the poster created the image himself. I'm not saying that it IS fake, because it does look really well done, but it is a red flag that says "don't take this at face value yet."
You CAN be sure, though, that Sony is in talks with Lucasarts to create a Star Wars Move ga...
The PS3 version had a slightly wider view on the cover art. This obviously makes the PS3 version superior. As much as most other cross-platform comparisons at least.
Order it now and you will automatically get whatever deals they do on it between now and release. I'm pretty sure that applies to the credits too.
Why does every article that mentions women have to use that picture or another one that objectifies women?
Man, she has great legs though.
Some people think they can watch 3D on any TV.
The new technology that is being used for 3D requires a TV that has a high enough refresh rate (120 Hz) and an IR emitter or a specific port for an external IR emitter to synchronize the LCD shutter glasses with the picture. Basically, you need a TV that was specifically made for and labelled as 3D.
Evolution, the maker of Motorstorm, has said that 3D doesn't use up much resources, but it may take some cleverness on the developers to keep the overhead down and utilize it well. Like most things, some developers will be good at it, others won't. As I think about it more, developers could probably use the little extra power available when 3D is turned off be used to stabilize the framerate or for some post-processing effects, but then it becomes just a matter of preference. Turn...
Speaking as an American I can say this. Americans aren't stupid, you just have to ask them the right questions. Questions like "What is Paris Hilton famous for?" ...Wait a minute... I haven't been able to figure that one out. How about "Name three 'American Idol' winners"? Or maybe "Name two of the Kardashian sisters."
Have you ever seen the movie "Idiocracy"? That seems to be the direction that America is going so...
The type of 3D in that article requires the red and blue glasses and is known as "anaglyph" 3D. It introduces color distortion, though, which is a big part of why 3D never caught on 20 years ago. The 3D that's coming out now that uses the LCD shutter glasses is much better.
Point taken though. 3D can be done on a regular TV. I could even conceive a box that takes the new 3D and converts it into anaglyph to display on a regular TV. I would rather wait until ...
Get people looking forward to something, then tell them "No, we're doing something different." Don't want a "Raiden moment."
